The Frank McCourt Memorial Scholarship

About This Scholarship

Frank McCourt was a beloved former teacher of Stuyvesant High School from 1972 to 1987. He won a Pulitzer Prize for his memoir, Angela’s Ashes. He passed in July 2009 at the age of 78.

Applicant Criteria 

  1. Applicant must be in good academic standing.
  2. Applicant must demonstrate financial need.
