Abigail Scheck Class of 1972 Memorial Endowed Scholarship Essay Questions
- What academic field(s) are you interested in studying? (1-2 paragraphs). Please describe what you find intellectually interesting about your intended field of study and why.
- List your SHS extracurricular activities as well as other outside extracurricular activities, years of participation, and leadership positions, and describe how your involvement strengthened and improved those communities. Be certain to include your level of involvement (participant, member, organizer, leader, change agent, etc.). In addition, describe lessons learned from these experiences and how you will use those lessons in future community activities. (1-2 paragraphs for each item)
- Describe your dream/vision of how you will positively impact the various communities/world you will be involved in over the next 10-15 years. Please link your intended field of study to your vision and how you plan to serve the larger community (up to 500 words – or more, if on a roll!).
