On June 27, our Annual General Meeting featured a greeting from Principal Jie Zhang, an address and Q&A with Soo Kim, Class of 1993, President of the Stuyvesant High School Alumni Association, and a presentation of scholarships and awards to Stuyvesant students and recent graduates. Later, Alumni Weekend festivities included a Step and Repeat photo booth, a catered lunch, a daycare Kids’ Club, and a presentation on our mentoring program, created by YanJie Hou ’06. There was also a tech panel featuring Kamiu Lee ’03 of Bloglovin’, Sang Lee ’04 of Darcmatter, Josh Mohrer ’00 of Uber (newly elected to our Board of Directors), Noah Weiss ’04 of Foursquare, and moderator Vanessa Liu ’92 of Trigger Media. Later in the afternoon, a stalwart group of Stuyvesantians gathered at SoulCycle Tribeca down the street for a fun workout to benefit the SHSAA.
