2022 Benefit for Stuyvesant Recap & Photos
On Tuesday, May 24, 2022, alumni from many class years, parents, faculty, and friends of Stuyvesant gathered at Tribeca Rooftop to honor notable Stuy alumni and celebrate our beloved alma mater at our annual Benefit for Stuyvesant. This was our first large in-person gathering since 2019.
Thanks to the generosity of our alumni and supporters, we raised over $220,000 for Stuyvesant. Please click here to view our event’s Program Journal.
We awarded “The Golden Pegleg” to Roald Hoffmann, PhD ’55 and also honored US Congresswoman Grace Meng ’93, Vishal Garg ’95, and Lindon Gao ’09.
The Golden Pegleg was created completely at Stuyvesant. Bill Ni ’19 designed the award for the first Benefit in 2019 and the school 3D-printed the individual awards in the Irwin Zahn Innovation Lab.
