Stuyvesant High School Theater Community Presents 1776 – Nov. 4

Alumni from all class years are invited to attend Stuyvesant High School Theater Community’s musical comedy:

The story is based on the events surrounding the signing of the Declaration of Independence. The March 2016 New York Times review of the revival was entitled “1776, a Musical Portrait of Squabbling Politicians”. The play premiered on Broadway in 1969 and won three Tony Awards, including Best Musical.

A limited number of tickers are available for each of the three performances:

Wednesday, November 1st at 5:30pm (CANCELLED)

Friday, November 3th at 6:00pm

Saturday, November 4th at 6:00pm

Tickets are free for dues-paying members of the Alumni Association, and are $10 for other alumni and guests.

If you are not a Stuyvesant High School Alumni Association (SHSAA) dues paying member and would like to become one, you can also purchase a membership directly with your ticket. For a limited time, we will give out a free copy of Stuyvesant’s Centennial Book with your purchase of membership.
