Class of 1977 – 40th Reunion

Dear Classmates and Friends,

Forty years ago today, on June 22, 1977, we gathered at Carnegie Hall for our commencement. Principal Fabbricante asked our parents to rise and applaud us. And then he asked us to rise and turn and applaud our parents. Remember?

For many of us, that was the last time we saw friends with whom we studied, laughed, cried, raged, and loved during a pivotal time in our lives. For some of us (like those who attended our fantastic 35th reunion in 2012), it wasn’t the last time, but the next time can’t come soon enough.

Well, the next time is our 40th reunion on October 14th. Tickets will be available online for $140 until October 5th, and then at the door for $155.

So don’t miss a night to remember. The venue is beautiful and convenient, the food is great (the organizing committee sampled it to make sure), and the company and the memories can’t be beat.

If you’ve already bought your tickets (and more than 50 of you already have), thanks. If not, tickets are available here. Friends, spouses, partners, and members of other Stuy classes are welcome. Please act now to take advantage of the discount and help us make the venue minimum. And if you haven’t already, please join the Class of ’77 Facebook page so you can keep abreast of everything about the reunion and the Class of ’77.

Thanks in advance from all of us on the reunion organizing committee. See you in October!
