The Albert Capsouto 1973 Memorial Scholarship

About This Scholarship

Albert Capsouto ’73, the youngest of three brothers who in 1980 started Capsouto Frères, one of the first of the more high-end restaurants in TriBeCa, died in 2010 at 53. Family and friends started this scholarship for a Stuyvesant senior who has demonstrated a commitment to community service, volunteer work, because Albert had been very active for 19 years in Manhattan Community Board 1.

Applicant Criteria

  1. The student must demonstrate a commitment to community service and an interest in volunteerism.

Please submit your application form via the website, and your addenda (see checklist), including essay question printed to the Alumni Association office in room 101.
